About me
I was born and raised in Montana and love it here. I graduated from the University of Montana with my bachelors in 2012 and masters degree in 2020. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade at Target Range and love spending my days learning with my students. This is my eleventh year as a tiger! My husband, Tyson, and I have been residing in Missoula for the last 16 years. We enjoy raising our three boys, Brayden 11, Camden 7, and Trey 6 months, here in Montana taking advantage of all it has to offer. We also have a spirited dog named Sage. You can often find us outdoors fishing, swimming, hunting, skiing, and much more.

How we can work together
As students become more capable and independent, it is important that we work together to make sure they are supported and/or challenged.
In second grade, we don't assign homework, but encourage parents to spend quality time together with their kids and read for enjoyment together. We recommend 15-20 minutes every day as possible.
We don't generally have a need for volunteers in the classroom in 2nd grade, but have occasional projects, parties, or field trips where parents are welcome to volunteer.
We will send home weekly newsletters , most Fridays with "What is happening in 2nd grade" so you can stay on top of what they are learning in the classroom.
We also use the Remind app as a communication tool. My remind code is: @8eac44. If you have questions you can send them there or email me. For immediate needs, you can also call the school and they can get a message to me quickly.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please let me know. When we all work together, our students are more likely to be successful!
